This is Embarrassing

Hello, Friends! When I went to add a post about being done with Draft 4 of The Madtown Milkrun, I was shocked and not just a little embarrassed to see how long it has taken me to get to this point. Where have the years gone? Well, full-time job and life, I guess. Anyway, I am starting Draft 5, and I hope that it won’t take as long as the last drafts did. We’ll see. Thanks for hanging in there with me, and I hope it will be worth the wait for more murder, sex, Scotch, and ice cream!

Big News — Madtown Milkrun Misses Target Date

Okay, so maybe not big news. We kinda missed our projected publication date of 2015 . . . that’s why it is so dangerous to give dates in the first place. Wish we could say we missed it for some dramatic reason, but the reality of it is just the interference of full-time jobs and daily life.

BUT, for those of you kind enough to inquire, we are pleased to say that we are actively writing and making progress. There will be a Madtown Milkrun. Not today, not tomorrow, but someday; probably 2017. And there will be more of Phil, Mary, Sam, and the other regulars, along with the requisite murder, sex, Scotch, and ice cream!

The Madtown Milkrun

We’re not accustomed to publishing information about works-in-progress, as things tend to change during writing/editing, but we’ve been asked about the next book in the series . . . yes, there is a third book under development for those of you who cannot get enough murder, sex, Scotch, and ice cream (you know who you are!). The working title is The Madtown Milkrun, and we expect to publish sometime in 2015 (stay tuned to this web page or our Facebook page for updates).

Here is the working back-cover synopsis:

Fugu? Fugedaboudit; it’s been done. Piranha filet? Passé. Breast of Bald Eagle? Illegal, but that wouldn’t stop Chef from putting it on the menu; true artistry knows no boundaries.

It’s all about the ultimate gourmet experience. What’s under Chef’s apron this time? Phil Bardo, Xiamorha “Sam” Sang, and Mary Haiger have to find out. From a gruesome killing at Cows on the Concourse to a missing dairy farmer, a secret decadent spa for the super-rich and an uneasy partnership between the FBI and the DEA on an interstate drug trafficking case, Phil and his partners have a lot on their plates. Yes, it’s a DOA involving the FBI, the DEA, and the EIEIO!

Yet another tasty tale of murder, sex, Scotch, and ice cream from the folks who brought you Murder in Madtown and Madtown Madmoney!

Just in the Nook of Time!

Yes, folks, the Nook version of Madtown Madmoney is now available! Now you won’t have to go and buy a hard-copy! We’ve verified the copy on an elderly black-and-white Nook, and it worked fine, thought the fine cover art is nowhere near as cool in b&w as it is in color. It also works on the free Nook reader that you can download for your iPad and iPhone.

Madtown Madmoney Now Available!

madmoney_frontSure, you may already have read about this on Facebook, but here it is anyway . . . Madtown Madmoney, the sequel to Murder in Madtown, is now available via Amazon, for hard copy or Kindle e-book. No Kindle? Use your iPad or iPhone with the free Kindle reader app, and then get the Kindle version. Sorry, Nookies, no Nook version quite yet, but hopefully soon!
